The light bulb trick is an awesome idea! I always try to catch up on all the books I want to read in the Winter. I am starting Yoga next week so I think that will be a big “go to” this winter 🙂 Great Post!

Great tips! The lighbulb one is interesting. I haven’t noticed that. But I think maybe because my husband had changed all of ours to LED bulbs? But anyway, yellow light would bother me too!

In reply to Shani | Sunshine & Munchkins. Thanks Shani! I've been thinking about getting one of those lamps too! I think they are more intense and work differently than the light bulbs, so you could do both. The light bulbs just are the "color" of daylight instead of more yellow-y.

I’ve thought about getting one of those lamps that simulate daylight to use in the winter, but I didn’t know they had light bulbs that you can use that do the same thing! I’ll have to check those out. Good luck settling into your new place! 🙂

In reply to Mistle. Thanks so much! We've been having a very warm fall and it's wonderful. A few days in the high 60s feels great! We're having frost advisories at night though and there have been some cold days.

In reply to Katie. You should try it! It's one of those things that you never really notice, but if you see a normal yellow light bulb next to a daylight one, they're very different.

Changing the light bulbs is SUCH a good idea! I’ve noticed one of my lights has felt weird lately and I bet that’s part of the problem!

All great tips!!! I agree that when it gets colder its hard not to want to sit on the couch and watch tv,etc. Having a fun project is a great idea! It is still very hot here in TX, so I only wish that we would get some cooler weather soon.
