In reply to NZ Muse. That's so cool that your dog park has an agility course! Playing fetch with Mozzie basically means that I throw the ball, he's goes and gets it, and then he plays keep-away and won't let me have it again :)

I wish ours would fetch! Haven’t quite taught her that yet. We luckily have a big fenced yard and are 5 mins walk from a dog park, complete with agility course. Come summer we’ll introduce her to the joy of the ocean (we got her coming into winter and as she spent most of her life at the SPCA doesn’t seem to have been exposed to beaches).

I sometimes move her toys around/scatter them through the house – I may try hiding edible things too!

In reply to Danielle. Thanks Danielle! Walking is my favorite too. I always wonder what information they are gathering when they smell each pole and leaf. They obviously can tell a lot more than we can!

I love how simple and easy all these activities are/ My favorite is just going on walks with my dog. She loves running everywhere and smelling EVERYTHING. Sometimes, I look at her like, “You smelled that bush three times already.” But for her it’s always new. Great post!

In reply to Roselynn Mercedes. It's so nice to live somewhere nice you can walk. I get a little nervous at the dog park since Mozzie is not always nice to other dogs the first time he meets them. We're working on it, but it's tricky. 3 dogs must be non-stop crazy!

I’m always too nervous to take them to the dog park, but they love going to the docks and walking the boardwalk. Luckily I live right by the docks in town so I get to take all three dogs daily.
