This is such a great post. I am currently packing to move house and I find it soon difficult to part with books, especially text books that have cost me an arm and a leg!

These are great ideas! I think they also come perfectly into play when dealing with old CDs. I have a TON from working in the music industry and I don’t want to get rid of them, yet I don’t have a CD player, my main laptop doesn’t even have a CD drive so why hold onto them when I can likely stream them all online?

This is a hard one for me. When you said, “…surrounded by all of that knowledge” I realized ~ that’s me! I love the way they look! I’m have the double whammy of being sentimental and a true love for old books. I was born in the wrong time!
