I HATE blazers, always have. Maybe because I had to wear one in school. But it seems to be a staple in every “capsule wardrobe” video I watch. I also really dislike the trend of wearing white trainers with an otherwise dressy outfit – it’s on every list. If I’m wearing trainers I’m wearing sports clothes/yoga pants with them. Anyway, thank you for validating me 🙂

I love the way collared shirts look but I also end up changing… I no longer own either. (Same for heels!!) To look “professional” I wear dresses. I love dresses! I have dressy dresses and fun dresses. I also never dry clean anything. If it can’t stand the water, it goes in the Goodwill box. I also shop resale and get fantastic things there.

I went through the list and the majority of it was footwear and a lot of formals. I only have the basics – simple is good!

Thanks Sara! I’ve tried so hard to like Blazers and collard shirts! They look so good on everyone else but I just don’t feel comfortable in anything with a collar. I wish I did!

Absolutely Karin! I do enjoy looking through them sometimes to get ideas. I just think it’s important to know yourself and what works for you instead of thinking there are must-have items that everyone should own.
